Tarnerland Nursery School

Admissions

Please note that we are in the process of phasing in fixed attendance patterns at Tarnerland. This is to enable us to offer the new government funding to as many children as possible which we plan to do over 47.5 weeks of the year. This means that children will be eligible for 12 or 24 hours, all year round, instead of the 15 or 30 hours, term-time only. In our pre-school group from April 2024, and in all groups from September 2025, attendance options for 24 hour children will be limited to;

2.5 days - either beginning of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning) or end of the week (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, Friday)

3 days - either beginning of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) or end of the week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

4 days - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Wednesdays NOT available on this pattern)

5 days

Children only eligible for 12 hours will be able to attend on Monday / Tuesday mornings OR Thursday / Friday mornings, but will have the option to 'top-up' to one of the attendance patterns above.

Further information is included in the documents below, but please do contact us with any queries.
