Tarnerland Nursery School

Development Matters is non-statutory curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage (children from birth until the end of their Reception year at school) which was revised in 2021. We use this guidance to guide our thinking about how children develop and learn. We have also used it to design our own Tarnerland Curriculum - see below.

Our Tarnerland Curriculum document shows how we work towards our big curricular goals in each area of learning, with an emphasis on children's interests, core books / rhymes / stories, exploring the meadow and real-life experiences.
